We all have parents, grandparents, friends, school teachers, co workers, and sometimes even children that have suffered or are suffering with cancer. Cancer impacts not only the person suffering with it, but everyone close to them as well.
My Grandmother died of Cancer when I was at a very young age. My Grandmother, a lot like many other women, cared very much about her appearance and the way she looked for others. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer and started to go through chemo therapy, she started to lose the majority of her hair.
It is very sad and overwhelming, but when people are diagnosed with cancer, one of the most common treatments is chemo therapy. When patients undergo chemo the majority of them lose most of their hair. They are forced to give up everyday activites such as using a hairdryer. We are asking celebrities to donate their hairdryer, sign it, and take a picture with it. Because then they would be giving up their hairdryer too.
Each hair dryer is going to be sold at auction with all proceeds supporting the American Cancer Society.
